A diamond mine famous for extraordinary large stones. The 1,111 carat Lesedi la Rona was found here in 2015, the second largest gem quality diamond ever recovered. The 813 carat Constellation came from the same mine. Advanced X-ray technology recovers large diamonds without breaking them. Operated by Lucara Diamond of Canada. Opened in 2012.
